Applications are now open for the 2026 Numerix Women in Finance Scholarship Program. As part of the ongoing commitment to empowering the next generation of female finance leaders, Numerix will award a $20,000 scholarship to one outstanding graduate student pursuing a career in finance, with one half being paid to the educational institution and the other half being paid directly to the student.
Numerix will award the scholarship to a Master’s or PhD student in a finance-related program. Candidates must have under 10 years of work experience, less than five in finance, and be pursuing a career in asset management, risk management, fixed income, or derivatives.
The Women in Finance Scholarship is aimed at encouraging and supporting talented women in the field of finance, particularly those pursuing careers in financial asset management, market risk management, structured finance, fixed-income, and derivatives within the capital markets.
Launched in 2014 as the FINCAD Women in Finance Scholarship, this annual initiative is awarded to one eligible woman to help support graduate-level studies in Finance.
Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must:
- Be enrolled and attending a Master’s or PhD Finance program on a full-time basis
- Have commenced your post-graduate Finance studies no earlier than January 1, 2026 or no later than February 1, 2027
- Have less than 10 years of total work experience, and less than 5 years of professional experience in the financial field
- Be a female citizen of any country who is enrolled in a post-graduate program in Finance at an accredited university
