Applications are now open for the 2026 South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) Scholarship Programme. The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) is responsible for building and maintaining national roads across the country. We also offer a limited number of scholarship awards to help young learners who would like to grow their skills and achieve success.

Scholarship programme was developed to give financial support to South African learners at registered South African schools from Grade 08 to Grade 12, irrespective of their subject choices.

Requirements

To qualify you must:

• Be a South African citizen
• Be registered at an endorsed South African school
• Be applying for grades 8 to 12
• Meet a minimum overall academic average of 60%
• Have a total household income of less than R550,000 per year
• Complete an online application in full and upload all the necessary supporting documents which are required

Benefits

The SANRAL scholarship covers:

• School fees and boarding school fees (where applicable)

• School and sports uniforms (where applicable)

• Books and stationery (where applicable)

• Reputable school Transport (where applicable)

• Extra lessons (Only Maths and Science)

• Registration (where applicable)
