Applications are now open for the 2026 MCI-Herman Mashaba Scholarship. Promoting Entrepreneurship, Society and Good Governance is a joint mission of the South African Entrepreneur and Statesman Herman Mashaba and MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® in Innsbruck, Austria.

This scholarship under the patronage of Herman Mashaba supports students engaged in activities related to this rewarding mission to personally and professionally develop by studying at the prestigious MCI. The scholarship is applicable for the first year of the respective master’s program and can be extended to further years depending on academic performance (grades, engagement…).

  • Confirmation of your application
  • A motivation letter describing the applicant’s engagement in activities related to Entrepreneurship,
    Society and Good Governance, future goals and explaining how their studies at the MCI will help them
    achieve these aims. The motivation letter should also explain how applicants would benefit from the
    awarded scholarship (financial aspects).

  • Future goals
  • Feasibility of the defined goals
  • Congruence of your goals and selected MCI degree program
