Applications are now open for the 2025 One Young World – Roche Scholarship. The Roche Scholarship 2025 will enable 4 outstanding professionals working in the NHS to participate in the One Young World Summit in Munich, Germany on 3-6 November 2025.  This programme is intended for young leaders within the NHS who have demonstrated a commitment to sustainable innovation in healthcare. Examples may include (but are not limited to) the following: 

• Tackling the causes and effects of health inequalities. 
• Creating or implementing innovative methods of treatment or diagnosis to enhance the patient care pathway.
• Reducing emissions or burdens on natural resources, such as through decarbonising healthcare supply chains. 

Eligibility Criteria 

• Aged 18 to 35* at the time of the One Young World Summit 2025.
• Nationals of all countries will be eligible to apply for this scholarship, but must:
  • Be based in the United Kingdom.
  • Hold a position in the NHS or in an organisation working in partnership with the NHS.
• Understanding of key local and/or global issues.
• Track record of generating impactful and innovative solutions.
• Demonstrated commitment to sustainable innovation in healthcare.

Benefits

Access to the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich. Travel restrictions permitting: 

• Hotel accommodation in Munich in a private room between 3-6 November 2025 (inclusive). 
• The cost of travel to and from Munich (economy class). 
• Catering which includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner (provided by the hotel and during the Summit). 
• Cost of transportation between airport and hotel via public transport.
