- The examination shall be organised in one sitting to Cameroonians of both sexes, holders of the Baccalauréat required for the option solicited, or GCE A/L in at least two papers including the principal subject of the specialty, and GCE O/L with pass in at least four subjects, excluding “religious knowledge.” .
- Below shows the required certificates to qualify for the Competitive Entrance Examination:

- Baccalaureate C, D, E, I or GCE A/L in at Least two of the following papers (Pure Maths, Further maths, Applied Maths, Physics, Computer studies). . Baccalaureate technique F4, BT-IS. GCE A/L Technical in Building Construction.
Option: Topography, Real Estate Management.
- Baccalaureate C, D, E, I or GCE A/L in at Least two of the following papers (Pure Maths, Further maths, Applied Maths, Physics). . Baccalaureate technique F4, BT Topography.
Option: Electronics, Electrotechnics.
- Baccalaureate C, D, E, I or GCE A/L in at Least two of the following papers (Pure Maths, Further maths, Applied Maths, Physics). . Baccalaureate technique F4, MAV. GCE A/L Technical in Electrics.
Option: Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Mechanics.
- Baccalaureate General C, D, E, I Bac F1, BT CH/CH or equivalent for Mechanical Engineering Option..
- Bac General C, D, E, I, BT-MA or equivalent. For Automobile Mechanics Option.
Option: Fashion, Clothing and Textiles, Home Economics.
- BT-IH or GCE A/L for Fashion, Clothing and Textiles Option.
- BT ESF or GCE A/L in Arts and Sciencs for Home Economics Option.
Option: Industrial Computing, Home Economics.
- Baccalaureate C, D or E, GCE A/L in at Least two of the following papers (Pure Maths, Further maths, Applied Maths, Physics, Computer studies). . Baccalaureate technique F2, F3, TI, or BT-MAV. GCE A/L F2, F3.
Option: Information Management and Communication (IMC), Information and Communication Technologies.
- GCE A/L and Baccalaureate in any series for Information Management and Communication (IMC) and Information and Communication Technologies Option. .
Option: Accountancy, Management, Marketing.
- Baccalaureate G2 or GCE A/L in Accountancy, A2, A3, or A4 Series for Accountancy Option.
- Baccalaureate G1, G2 and G3 or GCE A/L in Business Studies, A2, A3, or A4 Series for Management Option. .
- Baccalaureate G1, G2 and G3 or GCE A/L in Business Studies, A2, A3, or A4 Series for Marketing Option.
Option: Tourism, Hotel Management.
- GCE A/L and Baccalaureate in any Series for Tourism and Hotel Management Options.
Option: Renewable Energy, Tourism & Hospitality Management.
- Baccalaureate C, D, E, I or GCE A/L in at Least two of the following papers (Pure Maths, Further maths, Applied Maths, Physics, Computer studies). . Baccalaureate technique F2, F3 or BT-MISE. GCE A/L Technical, F3 or MISE.
- Foreign candidates may be allowed to sit for the examination in the same academic conditions within the limits of the available places, in conformity with the regulations in force.
- Candidates who are not ‘civil servants should not be more than 29 YEARS old as of January 1st 2016. .
- A registration form to be collected fromHTTTC Kumba,University of Buea, the Regional Delegations of Secondary Education or the MINESUPwebsite: minesup.gov.cm; or .
- A certified photocopy of the birth certificate dated not more than three (3) months.
- Transcripts of Probatoire or GCE O/L and Baccalauréat or GCE A/L signed or certified by the competent School Authority.
- A certified photocopy of Baccalauréat or GCE A/L or equivalent diploma dated not more than three (3) months. Candidates preparing the Baccalauréat or GCE A.L for 2o15 session shall present their diploma in due time. .
- A certificate of non-conviction dated not more than three (3) months;
- A receipt upon payment of twenty thousand (20,000) CFA as non-refundable registration fees delivered by Institution’sBANK S.A. No other form of payment will be accepted.
- One self addressed A4 envelope bearing stamps in conformity with the regulations in force.
- Two passport-size photographs;
- An authorisation to sit for the examination issued by the Minister of Basic Education, the Minister of Secondary EducationMINESEC or the Minister of Higher Education MINESUP for candidates working in those Ministries
- Holders of foreign diplomas shall submit either the equivalence or the receipt showing that they applied for the equivalence of their diplomas or certificates. The Order granting equivalence and the receipt are issued by the Minister of Higher Education.
- In any case their final admission in case of success will be subject to the presentation of the said equivalence within deadline set by the competent authorities.
- Two written papers (70% of the total assessment); .
- Study of documents (30% of the total assessment).
- Written examinations are scored on 20 points. Any score below 05 points is eliminatory.
- the candidate‘s age. .
