To announce a training competitive examination for the recruitment of twenty-five (25) Student Senior Statistical Technicians (S.S.T) into the Sub-Regional Institute of Statistics and Applied Economies (I.S.S.E.A) Yaounde, for the 2018 session.

of the Constitution.
of decree No.75/780 of 18 December 1975 to lay down the special rules and regulations of the corps of the Statistics civil servants.
of decree No. 94/199 of 7 October 1994 to lay down the General Rules and Regulations of the Public Service, as amended and supplemented by decree No. 2000/287 of 12 October 2000.
of decree No. 20 11/408 of 9 December 2011 to organize the Government.

HEREBY ORDERS AS FOLLOWS:
Article 1:
A training competitive examination has been announced to recruit twenty-five (25) Student Senior Statistical Technicians (S.S.T) for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The written part of the competitive examination shall take place on 8 and 9 May 2018 in Yaounde, the only examination centre.
Article 2 : The examination shall be open to aIl Cameroonians of both sexes who fulfill the following conditions:
A – FOR EXTERNAL CANDIDATES
- Be at least 17 or at most 29 years of age as at 1st January 2018 (born between 01/01/1989 and 01/01/2001).
- Be holder of a Baccalaureate Diploma of General Secondary Education, series C, D, E or the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level (GCE-AL) in at least two science subjects excluding Religious Knowledge, or any other recognized equivalent diploma.
B – FOR INTERNAL CANDIDATES
- Be a Statistics civil servant and holder of a diploma of Assistant Statistical Technician issued by a recognized school of Statistics.
- Be at least 17 or at most 40 years of age as at 1st January 2018 (born between 01/01/1978 and 01/01/2001).
- Have acquired at least two (02) years of professional seniority in this grade as of 1st January 2018.
Article 3:
Candidates shall compile two complete application files and submit them, against a receipt, at the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform, Department of State Human Resource Development, not later than Friday 27 April 2018. The files shall comprise the following documents:
A – ISSEA Files
- a certified true copy of birth certificate signed bv a recognized civil authority (Govemor, SDO, DO, Mayor) not more than three (03) months old.
- a certified true copy of the Baccalaureate Diploma or GCE-AL signed by a recognized civil authority.
- a medical certificate issued by a public sector Medical Officer, not more than three (03) months old.
B – MINFOPRA Files.
- a registration form bearing a CFA 1000 fiscal stamp. The forms can be obtained from the Ministry of the Public Service and Administrative Reform (Department of State Human Resources Development).
- a certified true copy of birth certificate signed by a recognized civil authority (Mayor, DO, SDO, Govemor) not more than three (03) months old.
- a certified true copy of the required diploma signed by a recognized civil authority.
- an attestation of presentation of original of the said diploma.
- a receipt attesting payment of the registration fee of CFA 15000 (fifteen thousand) francs for extemal candidates, and CFA 20000 (twenty thousand) francs for civil servants issued by the Service Head for Direct Competitive and Scholarship Examinations (Department of State Human Resources Developrnent).
- a certificate of non-conviction of not more than three (03) months old.
- a medical certificate issued by a public sector Medical Officer, not more than three (03) months old.
- an authenticated certified copy of the absorption decision for civil servant candidates.
- 4 (four) passport-size photographs.
- an authorization to sit the said examination signed by the Minister of the Public Service and Administrative Reform for civil servants after the approval of the user Ministry.
All incomplete or late files or files containing documents not signed by a recognized civil authority shall be simply rejected.
Article 4 :
1. The written part of the examination which shall take place at the Yaounde center only, shall be scheduled as follows:

Candidates are expected to be present at the examination halls at 7a.m. at the latest for papers written in the morning, and 12:30 p.m. for the afternoon papers.The syllabus for the competitive examination is the same for Upper Sixth form Science of the General Certificate of Education Advanced Level.
Article 5 : The final results of the competitive examination shall be published through an Order signed by the Minister of the Public Service and Administrative Reform.
Article 6: This order shall be registered and published wherever necessary.
