A competitive entrance examination into year one of the first cycle for Fisheries and Marine Engineering officers of Industrial fishing ( Deep Sea Fishing ) and Fisheries technology Of the Limbe Nautical Arts and Fisheries Institute ( LINAFI ) , for the 2016 / 2017 academic year is organized . The written paper will take place on the 12 th and 13 th of August 2017 in the following centres : Garoua , Limbe and Yaounde :

The oral , physical and medical tests for successful candidates in the written papers will take place on the 28 th and 29th of August 2017 in the Limbe Centre exclusively .
The programmes , specialities , number of places and centre for the competitive entrance examination are as shown in the table below:

A . Conditions To Fulfill

The competitive entrance examination is opened to Cameroonians of both sexes who are holders of the following certificates: GCE A level in at least two ( 2 ) papers in Sciences subjects. Baccalaureat C , D, E , F or any other equivalent certificate recognised by the ministry of Higher Education .

The age limit for candidates is between 17 to 25 years as from the 1 st January 2017 .

Under the same academic requirements, foreign candidates are authorised to submit their files and their selection will be based on the study of their academic files, physical and medical tests in conformity with the regulation in force.

B. Application File .

The application file shall comprise the following :

>A registration form to be collected from
LINAFI or Regional Delegations of the Ministry of Livestock , Fisheries and Animal Industries or to be collected from the Ministry of Higher Education web site:

>A certified true copy of the Birth >Certificate dated not more than three ( 03) months .
>A certified true copy of the corresponding certificates dated not more than three ( 03) months .
>A certificate of non – conviction dated not more than three ( 03 ) months .
>A medical certificate issued by a medical officer from the administration and testifying that the candidate is physically and medically fit for sea profession .
>A receipt upon payment of twenty thousands ( 20 . 000 ) CFA as registration fees delivered by BICEC BANK to be deposited on ACCOUNT N ° 10001 0684063510140001 04. No other form of payment is accepted.
Two passport size photographs.
An authorization to sit for the examination issued by the user ministry ( for civil servants ) .
One self- addressed A 4 envelope bearing stamp ( s ) for 500 CFA.
Complete files should be submitted either at LINAFI Limbe or at the ten ( 10) Regional Delegations of the Ministry of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industry latest on
Friday 7 th of August 2017 at 3 . 30 pm prompt .
